Far lateral approach for resection of a foramen magnum meningioma

This video depicts the case of a far lateral approach to remove a foramen magnum meningioma on a patient that presented with severe spinal cord and brainstem compression. The lesion was resected, and the patient was discharged home, neurologically intact, three days after surgery.
