18 yrs. old boy, resident of a village near Ludhiana was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma of his shin bone (tibia). The young boy was advised an amputation surgery for the same at many centres, partly because of the lack of finances with the patient’s family and lack of awareness regarding the feasibility of a limb salvage surgery. A timely referral by medical oncology team and generous donations from all quarters helped in saving the young kid’s limb and lead a normal life.
