The Ohio State University Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) presented “Tools of the Trade: Rare Disease Research," a program designed to explain how rare disease research presents unique challenges and provide the information, tools, and resources available to help investigators successfully overcome these challenges.
Topics included:
• How to design a rare disease research study
• Recruiting and retaining study participants with rare diseases
• Connecting and partnering with rare disease community organizations
• Expert Reviewer Panel on getting grants funded, papers published, and results disseminated in rare disease research
