Edward, multiple myeloma survivor

Edward woke up one day not able to get out of bed and with a tremendous pain in his back. Thinking it was spine-related due to playing basketball, he later learned it was because of multiple myeloma. He underwent surgery and started treatment with our world-renowned team of multiple myeloma experts at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Grateful to his doctors and nurses, Edward recently celebrated his 70th birthday with them.
