Patient advocate Rachel Sitta talks at the September 23, 2017 DTRF Patient meeting

Rachel Sitta is a 5+ year desmoid tumor patient who is supported by her husband, daughter, family, friends, faith and HOPE and believes “Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful!” Through strong partnerships with her doctors and the DTRF, Rachel is committed to raising funds and awareness for desmoid tumors and whole-heartedly HOPES that one day there will be a cure for all of the desmoid community. Rachel believes that even though she is living with an uncontrollable disease about which little is known, raising awareness and funds are things she can control!
