Tom Wei-Wu Chen, MD, National Taiwan University Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan, discusses an investigation into the differences in soft tissue sarcoma (STS) histotypes between France and Taiwan. The incidence of index sarcomas, which include liposarcoma (LPS), leiomyosarcoma (LMS), angiosarcoma (AS), synovial sarcoma (SS), and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST), demonstrated significant differences between France and Taiwan. Additionally, the body part distribution of these sarcomas was different between the two countries. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2022 Congress in Paris, France.
