Desmoid Tumor “Veteran” Shares Her Experiences to Help Others​

Since she was diagnosed with her first desmoid tumor in 1999, Dana has had multiple surgeries. After an amputation to her right leg, she was desmoid tumor free for five years until she discovered another tumor in her hip and pelvis. Dana uses her experiences to encourage those newly diagnosed with desmoid tumors to their own research, advocate for themselves, and ask questions.
