Coping with cancer as a young adult: Vinesha's story

Vinesha Ramasamy spent much of her young life in cancer treatment. For adolescents and young adults (AYA) like Vinesha, the cancer experience can result in disconnection from peers and social life resulting in feelings of isolation. It is therefore important that our health care system provides services that best meet the unique medical and psychosocial needs of AYAs with cancer.
