Compression stockings, compression socks, and compression garments are used to help reduce leg and foot/ankle swelling or help with leg lymphedema treatment. There are a significant number of different types, fabrics, and fittings on the market, and it can be overwhelming. As a Certified Lymphedema physical therapist, I go through some of the best brands and styles of compression stockings and compression garments out there right now and share who they would each be best for.
