0:30 What's the distinction between chemotherapy and targeted therapy?
Since the 1970s, chemotherapy has been used. Chemotherapy kills cancer cells while also killing other quickly growing cells.
A sort of cancer treatment that uses medications or other chemicals to precisely identify and attack certain types of cancer cells is known as targeted therapy.

2:10 What are the advantages of targeted therapy in cancer?
Chemotherapy has a 50-60% chance of killing cancer cells, whereas targeted therapy has a 70-80% chance of killing cancer cells.
Furthermore, focused therapy has fewer negative effects. Chemotherapy produces 10-20% side effects, but targeted therapy has fewer than 10%.

If the tumor in breast cancer is more than 5cm or has migrated to the lymph nodes, these are high-risk factors, so we initially use chemotherapy to decrease the tumor.
