Cancer Recovery Story - Mike Reddy - Defying the Odds

Like countless others, Michael Reddy turned to the Kushi Institute after receiving devastating news. In July of 2014, Michael Reddy, a happily married father of two, went to the doctor for a routine check-up. Much to his surprise, Michael learned that he had Stage 4 Appendix Cancer. The doctors informed Michael that he had a 50/50 chance of survival because the cancer was spreading. Michael's mother immediately advised him to see a Macrobiotic Counselor in Los Angeles. After implementing a healing diet and lifestyle changes, Michael and his family began to see and feel a huge difference. The effects were so profound that both he and his mother were inspired to attend courses at the Kushi Institute. Michael joined us for two of our flagship programs, Way to Health and Macrobiotic Leadership, while his mother attended Way to Health and is returning in the spring to continue her education. Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles, Michael's wife started a Macrobiotic Group and has organized events with Jessica Porter, author of The Hip Chick's Guide to Macrobiotics, among others.
