Being Marilyn…With Myelofibrosis—An MF Journey
When former teacher and avid quilter, Marilyn, discovered significant bruising on her legs, she wondered if the essential thrombocythemia (ET) she had been living with for 30 years was starting to change. A bone marrow biopsy confirmed that her disease had progressed to myelofibrosis (MF)—a rare, chronic blood cancer. Marilyn didn’t want the disease to change who she was, so she was determined to stay positive while finding her new normal. In this video, she explains how she stayed true to herself through research, support groups, and connecting with other patients with MF.
