Allergic to the Sun (Xeroderma Pigmentosum)

Fatima Perez is allergic to the sun and supposed to remain inside at all times. She is diagnosed with Xeroderma Pigmentosum, a rare disorder resulting in the body's inability to repair cells damaged by the sun's rays.

This condition has taken Fatima's eyesight, but not her zest for life. She continues to celebrate each day while "shaking her bum bum."
