Presenter bio: LAURA CIEZADLO’s family had a long history of breast and
stomach cancer. Genetic testing revealed a CDH1 gene mutation
associated with Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer and Lobular
Breast Cancer. To prevent stomach cancer, Laura chose to have a
prophylactic gastrectomy. Laura lives in Libertyville, Illinois with her
husband and two daughters. She has been a board member for No
Stomach for Cancer since 2015.
