ক্যানসারের নতুন চিকিৎসা পদ্ধতি আবিষ্কারের দাবি করেছেন যুক্তরাজ্যের চিকিৎসকেরা। তারা জানিয়েছেন, যাদের ওপর ক্যানসারের ওষুধ আর কাজ করছে না, এমন রোগীও সুস্থ হচ্ছেন এ চিকিৎসায়। সম্প্রতি এসব তথ্য উঠে এসেছে দ্য গার্ডিয়ানের একটি প্রতিবেদনে।

মানব শরীরের জটিল রোগের মধ্যে ক্যানসার একটি। সঠিক সময়ে শনাক্ত হলে চিকিৎসায় সেরে ওঠা যায়। আর এর জন্য দরকার হয় সার্জারি, রেডিওথেরাপি বা কেমোথেরাপির মতো চিকিৎসা। তবে এসবও যখন ব্যর্থ হয়, তখন দেয়া হয় ইমিউনো/থেরাপি।
