Like most cancers, symptoms of bile duct cancer can only be seen in the later stages of cancer. It is very difficult to identify symptoms in the earlier stages of cancer as they are not clear symptoms.

The major symptom of bile duct cancer is jaundice which results in a change in the color of stool, a weird smell in the stool, or continuous and severe itching.

Other symptoms of bile duct cancer are an increase in the size of the liver, sepsis, and cholangitis. When the patient faces the symptoms of bile duct cancer it is possible that he/she might lose weight, decrease in the intake of food, etc.
