More pathology! This is gonna be on myeloproliferative disorders, which judging from the name is from too much myeloid cells.

The types of myeloproliferative disorders include:
Polycythemia (too much RBCs)
Essential thrombocythemia (too much thrombocytes)
Myeloid metaplasia with myelofibrosis
Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

Many of these are associated with JAK 2 kinase mutation. Again, we will discuss how they p resent and how the USMLE likes to ask them! Also we will discuss some pharmacology and how to treat these disorders.
