Serious infection after colorectal cancer surgery!?
Malin & Tom

After a long battle with colorectal cancer, Malin finally faced the last scheduled challenge towards beating this disease - a 9 hour operation to remove what was left of the cancerous tumour. During the operation, Malin had her colon removed, along with her uterus and more, and will now be left with a permanent colostomy at just age 29.

During the 7 month long battle against colon cancer, Malin has had radiation therapy, 4 rounds of chemotherapy, and an unplanned emergency surgery on her intestines, and now we are in the final stage of hopefully beating this cancer for good.

Going through a colorectal cancer battle is extremely difficult for anyone, but having 2 very young children has made it exponentially harder. We're taking it one day at a time.

Who are we?
โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”
We are a young 'Swenglish' adventure family, that consists of Swedish Malin, English Tom, and babies Charlie & Isabella, who are half and half. We love all kinds of adventures, including travelling around Sweden and beyond in our little budget family campervan, and we're currently building our dream campervan project.

But right now weโ€™re focused on one thing: to be free of cancer. We've been on the journey to recover since Malin received her colorectal cancer diagnosis in late 2022.
