Pituitary gland tumors and other disorders of your adrenal system can result in symptoms that prevent you from working. Pituitary disorders can be difficult to diagnose because your symptoms may mimic other diseases and conditions.

Some of the symptoms experience by previous clients include:
- fatigue
- muscle weakness
- nausea
- uncontrolled vomiting
- blurred vision
- unexplained hair loss or hair growth

In some cases, these and other symptoms are caused by micro tumors located throughout the adrenal system.

Because diagnosis and treatment of pituitary issues can be complex, you will want to find an endocrinologist who specializes in pituitary issues. If surgery is an option, you will also need a referral to a neurosurgeon.

I will also rely on these specialists to advise if you meet or equal Listing 9.00, or to identify specific work activity limitations that would preclude competitive work (in a functional capacity evaluation).
