Hey everyone and welcome to my channel! Im currently in pursuit of becoming a great physician in the field of Gastroenterology! Many years ago, I began my medschool career and although it was a long and demanding journey, throughout all those years, I learned I had a particular fascination and pull towards the field of Gastroenetrology. And so, after much hesitation and contemplation, I decided to start this channel. My aim with the channel is to share bits of my gastroenterology knowledge with medical students, nurses, patients or anybody who needed information about these specific medical pathologies. Peutz–Jeghers syndrome (often abbreviated PJS) is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder characterized by the development of benign hamartomatous polyps in the gastrointestinal tract and hyperpigmented macules on the lips and oral mucosa (melanosis).
