Effectively conveying genetic information is essential for patients to make informed decisions. This is especially important for survivors of heritable cancers such as retinoblastoma. Panelists in this session will share the current state of knowledge and provide examples of lived experience related to the genetics of retinoblastoma. Specifically, the session will explore: the cause of retinoblastoma; second primary cancer risks; family planning; genetic counselling services; and new genetic research studies.
