There are many controversial recommendations circulating about lymphedema risk after breast cancer surgery, such as a mastectomy or lumpectomy. What causes lymphedema after breast cancer surgery? What is true and what is not? Why is there so much confusion? In today's video, which is part 2 of a series, we are going to go through 3 different myths about lymphedema after breast cancer surgery. Does Flying cause lymphedema? Does lymphatic drainage or wearing a compression sleeve after surgery reduce the risk of lymphedema?
