Caroline Kelly explains the name change to PanKind, The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
In this short video, our Co-Founder, Caroline Kelly, explains the progression of the Foundation from its creation in 2007 to a truly national organisation, committed to increasing survival and quality of life for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
Our name change is a reflection of our evolution into a comprehensive organisation exclusively dedicated to #pancreaticcancer, and we want to assure our community that our commitment to making an impact for pancreatic cancer is as strong as ever.
We will remain deeply connected to the original vision and values of the organisation and we thank you for your ongoing support.

We need a breakthrough in early detection to increase survival rates. Pankind has invested over $7.6m in high-calibre research. Critically we are the FIRST early stage funder, the lead investor in innovative projects, other funders then follow our lead and invest .

Help us triple the survival rate by donating so we can continue funding projects like the Pancreatic Cancer Early Diagnosis Group which focuses on detecting pancreatic cancer earlier, BEFORE symptoms develop so they have a greater chance of survival.
PanKind are able to identify the most promising projects because our independent Scientific advisory panel is made up of globally recognised scientific and medical experts, who are responsible for assessing our research investments.
