Cancer- causing food

1. Salty Foods
Studies in the journal Cancer treatment and research state that salt has a carcinogenic effect, which is a substance that can cause the growth of cancer cells in people who have Helicobacter pylori infection. Salty types of foods also include preserved foods, such as bacon, jerky, salted snacks, and pickles.
2. Grilled or Baked Foods
Although it is delicious, you need to know that the process of burning food can produce polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). This substance is formed when muscle meat, including beef, pork, fish, or poultry, is cooked using high temperatures. According to a National Cancer Institute report, HCA and PAH are mutagenic, which cause DNA changes that can increase the risk of cancer.
3. Fast Food
Fast food is high in fat, sugar, and salt which can be the cause of cancer. Frequent consumption of these foods, coupled with less physical activity, can make you gain weight. When you are overweight, aka obesity, your risk of developing various types of cancer will increase.
4. Red meat
This increased risk of cancer is related to the way red meat is processed more often burned. In addition, red meat also contains natural compounds of nitrates. This compound according to research will turn into a cancer-inducing compound after entering the body. To prevent this, limit the consumption of red meat. Add vegetables or whole grains when you consume them so that the nutrients consumed are more complete.
