BRA Day helps breast cancer survivors, families learn more about breast reconstruction
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Survivors and family members are invited to a special event this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, affectionately referred to as "BRA Day."
The University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute invites you to attend Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day -- or BRA Day.
Dr. Ryan Gobble is one of the surgeons who is scheduled to speak at this event. He conducts implant research. He wants women to know there are newer options for rebuilding, or, in some cases, even restoring sensation to the breast tissue after removal.
BRA Day is on Oct. 16 from 5-7 p.m. at the new UC Gardener Neuroscience Institute auditorium on the campus of the main hospital. Speakers can also answer questions about breast implants.
The event is free, but you can call 513-558-2030 to RSVP.
