Ataxia telangiectasia is a neurological disorder caused by the mutation of the gene Ataxia Telangiectasia Mutated (ATM), which causes the destruction of the motor control area of the brain, leading to a lack of coordination or a clumsy gait. Over the course of their lives, children will become influenced by severe symptoms until they die sometime before the age of 22.

As my senior Capstone project I chose to research the disease and create a way for people to donate who wish to help. An early diagnosis can help save lives, so all money gathered from my school as well as from the public will be donated to ATCP.org to fund research.
