Any lump can be cancer, but all the lumps are not cancer. Any new lump occurring anywhere in the body, it is better to get it checked and then we decide whether it is cancer . Any lump being a cancer, the chances are less. Cancer over there should be treated. Cancer in the anal canal, most of them are hemorrhoids or piles, more common will be external piles, it is at the anal opening or it may be internal piles which have come out . So these are the common causes, but they also have to be treated. So any lump can be cancerous and if it is benign it has to be treated if required.
